white cardstock, exacto-knife, black paper underneath to show the cuts, and Gimp 2.2 for color.
A Snow White stencil was requested for my pre-school class, so I decide to go for it. But dang! did my hand HURT after all of that cutting!! It was totally worth it to see their little faces light up the next day, even though the stencil didn't last that long. Next time, I will reinforce it with contact paper -- of course I'll have to cut through that also, but live and learn, right? Right.
